Welcome to Ms. Moss' Class
Education-- I grew up in San Diego. After graduating from high school I attended San Francisco State University, where I earned a B.A. degree in history. I moved to Saint Cloud Minnesota after graduation. There I attended Saint Cloud State University where I earned a B.S. degree in elementary education. After my oldest son was born I returned to Southern California to I began my teaching. I felt drawn to teach students with challenges, so I began studying at Azusa Pacific University. There I earned my M.A. degree in special education. I have a clear Multiple Subject credential, a clear education specialist instruction credential, and I am the assistive technology specialist for Mountain View School District.
Teaching: I began my teaching career in San Bernardino City Unified School District. I taught 3rd, 4th, 5th grade and RSP there. Then I moved to Mountain View School District to teach RSP. I have 3 years of experience in general education and 10 years of experience in special education. I thoroughly enjoy working with students to meet their educational challenges and teach them how to work with their disabilities. I believe in using technology to enhance my teaching and to provide supports to help the students meet with success.
